Accessibility Statement

Last updated: July 2026

Our commitment

YOUbuntu CIC wants this website to be usable by as many people as possible. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA.

What we do

  • Design mobile-first so the site works on phones, tablets and computers.
  • Support keyboard navigation and provide a "skip to content" link.
  • Respect the "reduced motion" setting for people who prefer less animation.
  • Use clear headings, readable text sizes and strong colour contrast for body text.
  • Provide text alternatives for meaningful images.

Known limitations

Some embedded third-party content (such as video players) may not fully meet our standards, as we don't control it. We're working to improve this and choose accessible providers where we can.

Tell us if something's wrong

If you find any part of the site difficult to use, please contact us. Let us know the page and what went wrong, and we'll do our best to help and to fix it.

Enforcement

If you live in the UK and you're not happy with how we respond, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS).
